Landing Gear Down

I waited in one of the hides earlier today talking to a friend who I have not seen for some time. It was great to see him again. He'd said that there wasn't much happening so me and Dad settled down for little while. Dad kept asking me whether it was time to go yet... I wasn't so sure. I don't like to leave a hide without seeing something good. We waited for a while. A Heron was coming! The light was terrible but I hadn't been close enough to one throughout the stake out so I let the camera fire off. Then a Kingfisher but today wasn't a day for his posing sessions unfortunately.

I got home and checked the photos. I found that I had about 5 photos to keep from about 40. Oh well. There's always tomorrow... I hope.
