Tufted Duck day

I was trying out a 1.7x TC in alternating weather conditions. There was some nice lighting after a while but before that, it was very cloudy and quite cold! Here we have two different types of in flight shot. A small in the frame shot and an ordinary type shot over the water. Which do you prefer?

I went for an in flight shot of this Tufted Duck...

... and an environmental in flight type shot with this one. (Please forgive the lack of the border)
