Light...

Definitely what any photographer wants is a bit of light.  But then you get all kinds of light and, you can almost guarantee, the light will never be right! Well.  On Friday I headed down to the local reserve with my Dad and had diffused light through the clouds, which wasn't too bad...  Then today, we had mist, cloud, drizzle, rain and, generally, dull conditions...  Not so good!

These are the shots from yesterday and today:

Male Teal in front of the hide with some nice reflections and diffused lighting.

Greylag Goose taking flight from in front of the hide.

The Teal image has had the saturation upped a little because, obviously, the light didn't quite show how strong the colours are!  Then the Greylag shot has had the length of the canvas increased in front of the bird as it was a little bit tight between the head and the frame edge...
